First of all, we are proud to tell you that some of used cosmetics that have not expired go to charity — where we donate to people in need. We also donate expired cosmetics to Indonesian mortuary makeup artists so that these products can still be useful. ❤️

Despite our big dreams, Lippielust is an indie company with a small dedicated team who relies on one source of income: paid swatches projects. By buying our preloved cosmetics, you are supporting us to continue creating contents.

All preloved sales proceeds will be spent on products for subsequent review / swatches projects, not for personal profiting.

The products we sell as preloved are:

1. PR Gift products
2. Products that were sent for paid swatches projects
3. Products that we bought ourselves
4. Brand new products. Sometimes we received products more than we needed it, so you will find some brand new products on our store as well.

We use database to track when these products would expire and when should we put them on our Shopee store.

Mostly we only used these products once or twice when we swatched them and never used it again. You will see approximate percentage of the products that we already used for the projects: 70% – 90%, depending on how much product is used during the swatch process.

No, we don’t. All personal collection will never be sold at our Shopee store, it went straight to our personal vanity.

It might be a bit confusing, but we are used to buying products that we will use ourselves even though we already have it from projects that Lippielust have done in the past. PR gifts or paid projects goodies are considered as assets which are owned by our company, not personal properties.

If only cosmetic products had no expiration date, we would be happy to collect them all. However we realize that with all the limitations we have including our jam-packed storage space, collecting and storing cosmetics for months are simply impossible. We also think some people still need affordable cosmetics so selling these used cosmetic products is the right decision than label these valuable goods as trash. All in all, this is a way for us to sustain our company to be as independent as we can. 

Every person has the right to determine an attitude to what is believed. Therefore we do not exert any pressure on what we believe to be good and useful.  You can buy used cosmetic products, you also don’t need to buy them if you don’t want to.

Apart from selling our preloved products, because we are a small team we’re still routinely working in the office. We carry out regular body temperature check and Covid tests to ensure that we are always in a healthy condition and not exposed to the virus.
